COCOON

Rest is not a reward. It is the cornerstone of an impactful life. Get ready to reclaim JOY – through radical self-care. 42 M.A.G.I.C.-al prompts that take less than 30 minutes a day. Crafted to shepherd you from simply surviving…
…to feeling safe in your own body, and expanding your capacity to show up in this world exactly how you want to. Without overwhelm. Without exhaustion. Without broken hearted-ness.

Tell me if this sounds like you…

You wake up exhausted. Not just tired, but bone-deep weary.
You wish you could stay in bed awhile… but you know it won’t really help.
You think, “Maybe I need a vacation?” But even the thought of planning one is exhausting.

You move through the morning, holding it all together—lunches, inboxes, misplaced socks, texts you meant to reply to yesterday.
You get things done. You keep showing up.
But beneath it all is a quiet question:
“Is this all there is to life?”

Then—finally—a pocket of time. 20 minutes just for you. But instead of resting…
…you scroll through social media.
…or call a friend for a quick chat that turns into a vent session. And if your friend doesn’t return the call, …you fold the laundry or do the dishes. Or straighten the knick-knacks on the mantlepiece and call it “dusting.”

After all, you can’t just sit around doing nothing, right?

You want to use your me-time ‘well,’ but you don’t know how to start.
You’ve forgotten what you like to do—what rest feels like. You’ve forgotten what it feels like to be you.

And even when you think you know what would help—a short walk, a journal page, a few brush strokes—you can’t seem to make yourself do it.
You want it to feel special. But it just feels like… effort. Like another task to add to your never-ending to-do list.

You’ve read the books. You’ve taken the courses. You’ve tried being “more productive.” But what you haven’t been taught is how to rest. And why that’s important.
And though you’re such a generous giver, and acts of service are your love language… …it isn’t easy for you to receive…

There is nothing wrong with you. But you don’t feel fully alive, either. You’re perfectly functional… but you are NOT flourishing.

You know there has to be a different way.
A gentler one. A joyful one.

🌿 Imagine this…

You wake up on a Monday and you’re happy it’s morning. The air feels spacious. There’s time. You laugh over breakfast with your kids, share a warm smile with your partner, and move into your workday with clarity and calm. You know exactly what to do during your 11 a.m. break: a short journaling prompt, a simple doodle, maybe even just a cup of tea in stillness. It nourishes you in a way no productivity hack ever could. When your child wants to play in the evening, you feel present and joyful—not resentful or torn. You’re connected to nature, to your people, to yourself. You fall asleep that night not from exhaustion but from fulfillment. You’re not revenge procrastinating bedtime by doomscrolling on your phone. You’re looking forward to tomorrow.

Now imagine a different day—one where everything starts to go wrong… Your kids are late for school. You burn the toast. You snap at someone you love. Your inbox is a mess, and your brain feels wrapped in dense thick fog. But instead of spiraling, you pause. You listen to your body’s whisper: “You’re tired. Take a break. It’s ok to mess up -you’re human.” You sip your tea slowly. You pull out your prompt. You do it imperfectly. And it STILL recenters you. The day course-corrects—not because it magically got easier, but because you listened to your body, and filled your own cup..

With Cocoon, your relationship with time, with emotion, with your body—softens. Self-care becomes a rhythm, not a reward. Presence becomes a practice, not a performance.

So let me ask you… are you ready to…

…set aside 20-30 minutes a day for prompts that nourish you—not because you have to, but because you want to, knowing that if you miss a day (or even a few!), it will be ok?

…gently experiment with practices you may have never tried before—like watercolor, slow stitching, playful journaling, or breath-based reflection & discover that you don’t need to be artistic or the ‘meditation sort’ to feel deeply nourished by these practices?

…shift from “I should rest.” to “I get to receive.”—with daily practices that feel like gifts, not chores?

…build a rhythm of care that meets you where you are—even on the messy, too-much days—so that you have a way to come home to yourself again and again?

…finally say yes to tending to yourself—not someday when everything quiets down, but right now right here in the middle of it all?

If you found yourself nodding along—softly, quietly, or with full-body relief…
this is exactly what you’ll receive inside Cocoon.

7 Weeks. 42 prompts.
Each week focuses on one type of rest your body and spirit are craving. We move in a spiral—not a straight line—building safety, self-expression, and capacity week by week.

6 prompts per week based on M.A.G.J.I.C.
Short (20–30 minute) daily practices blending mindfulness, art, gratitude, joy, imagination, and creativity.
Some days you’ll journal. Others, you might paint, stitch, breathe, or wander outside and collect a leaf. Each day’s invitation will come in a format that supports you: audio meditations, video demos, step-by-step PDFs, or gently written reflections. If a prompt involves a creative or craft-based technique, you’ll receive clear, step-by-step instructions—and demo videos where needed.

The 3 layers of Cocoon

The 7-Week Arc – A gentle & inviting path through different kinds of rest
The M.A.G.J.I.C. Blend – The soul-rooted ingredients behind each practice
The Prompts – Your daily, doable invitations into joy, presence, and softness

The seven invitations of Cocoon – Enter the spiral

These seven invitations aren’t steps to complete, or chores to add to your to-do list. They’re soft turns inward—each one offering a path that builds on the previous week’s work, and extends towards the next, through different types of rest. Open an invitation to see what’s inside…

We begin with safety—because being at ease in your own body is the foundation for everything else. When you’re constantly bracing against life, it takes tremendous energy to keep your defenses high. Rest becomes impossible.
In this week, you’ll gently explore practices that help you feel held and grounded—so you can begin to build a sense of safety and belonging within yourself.

Once you learn what makes you feel safe in your own skin, we turn towards our emotions- including those that we have have ignored, supressed, and been afraid of.
In this week you’ll be gently guided to notice and express those emotions in simple, creative ways—using movement and mindfulness, color, and journaling.
The focus isn’t on digging deep or fixing anything, but on acknowledging what’s there—so it doesn’t build up or quietly run the show.

Safety and emotional honesty creates the space for your true self to emerge, to notice who you are beneath the roles you play, and the responsibilities you carry.
This week, you’ll begin to gently explore your own values, preferences, and needs—without obligation, performance, or pressure.
The prompts will invite you to notice where your edges are, what feels true for you, and how to stay close to that truth with kindness.

This week, you’ll explore what it means to be on your own side. To notice the moments you judge yourself harshly. To meet those moments with the kind of care you so easily extend to others.
Through simple, reflective prompts, you’ll practice treating yourself as someone worth tending to. Because you are.

This week, you’ll learn to make marks. Because you matter. We’ll give expression to everything that’s simmering inside—unspoken words, thought loops, opinions you’ve softened to keep the peace. But we do it gently, through private journaling, scribbles, and slow stitching.
Not because we’re afraid of the world, but because courage begins with being honest with ourselves first.

With a clearer sense of self and the courage to express it, you’ll begin to look ahead.
This week is about envisioning a life that reflects your values—not the noise, nor the ‘shoulds,’ but what truly matters to you.
The prompts will help you to listen for what’s calling next—without urgency, and without needing all the answers.

This final week is about weaving everything together—and noticing what’s shifted.
You’ll revisit what’s resonated most, so that you can gently anchor it into your real life.
Because building capacity to show up doesn’t mean pushing harder or doing more.
It means having enough space inside yourself to rest, feel and respond—without abandoning your own needs. This week helps you recognize what supports that space, so you can keep returning to it long after Cocoon ends.

✨ M.A.G.J.I.C.

Each prompt in Cocoon draws from one or more of these six elements. Together, they create a restorative rhythm that meets you exactly where you are.

  • Mindfulness – The ability to slow down, notice what’s here, and accept it with kindness is the foundation of Cocoon.
  • Art – We use process art as a tool for expression, not aesthetics. We’re not here to paint pretty pictures—we’re here to meet what’s within, through pigment and movement.
  • Gratitude – Not a forced checklist. Instead, we cultivate the conditions where gratitude arises naturally, spontaneously, and often.
  • Joy – As both a radical source of renewal and the North Star that guides your journey.
  • Imagination – When rooted in the body, imagination helps us visit the past and envision a future aligned with our deepest values.
  • Creativity – Not just art-making, but the resilient, adaptive capacity to meet life in new ways. This includes stitching, journaling, movement—and seeing your own way of meaning-making and problem-solving as beautiful.

And finally, if you’re wondering… why prompts?

The word prompt comes from the Latin promptus—meaning brought forth, made visible, or ready at hand.

That’s what each prompt inside Cocoon is meant to be: A way to bring forth into your life and the world what is within you.
And of course, they are designed to be ready at hand – accessible, do-able, often fun… allowing you to embody the invitations of each week.
You don’t have to be perfect, or do the prompts in order, or even do all the prompts, to benefit.

Hi! I’m Nimisha

Surgeon. Mother. Artist. Writer. I’ve taken coaching training and somatic trauma therapy training, and done years of personal work…
So I know a thing or two about trying to chase ‘enough-ness’ – enough to know that ‘good enough’ isn’t a destination, it’s an experience to embody… over and over. Cocoon wasn’t built in an Excel sheet. It came from my body.
I have lived, breathed, walked, and painted these prompts for five years—through the early days of motherhood and sleep deprivation, in the stolen moments between surgeries and night feeds.
Cocoon was born from my own need to cocoon—again and again—
to shelter from the intensity of life, and my own emotions and desire for impact..,
and each time cocoon-ing allowed me to to slowly, gently build the capacity to show up…
each time with more presence, more softness, more joy.
Cocoon isn’t a course. It is an invitation to rest, to experience, to be. So that you can… Build the capacity to create impact from a place and at a pace that feels sustainable. Show up and be seen. And do what needs to be done in the way only you can do it.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

That’s completely okay. You have lifetime access to all materials. Cocoon is designed to meet you where you are, not add pressure. You can move at your own pace, skip prompts, revisit weeks—this is your COCOON

Not at all. You don’t need art supplies beyond the basics, and you definitely don’t need to think of yourself as “creative.” (Though I guarantee that you are both creative and artistic, and several of the prompts are intended to help you see this.) The practices are about expression, not perfection. Messy is welcome. Curiosity is enough..

Nope. If you’ve never meditated before—or if you’ve tried but couldn’t “stick with it”—Cocoon might be exactly what helps you try again in a new way. The practices are short, embodied, and practical. And you don’t need to meditate to experience the benefits of mindfulness.

Most prompts take 20–30 minutes a day. Some are even shorter. This isn’t about squeezing one more thing in—it’s about creating little pockets of space that refill you.
A couple of the crafting prompts may take longer than 30 minutes, which is why one catch-up day has been built into the structure of Cocoon – so there are only 6 prompts per week instead of 7.

The experience officially begins on May 5, 2025. But if you join by 30th April, you’ll receive two bonus offerings you can dive into right away: The Art of Mindfulness and the full Your Body Whispers recordings.

It’s mostly self-paced, but we’ll also gather for two optional live sessions during the journey—part creative circle, part gentle check-in. You’ll get plenty of notice before those happen.

No. Cocoon is not a substitute for therapy, medical care, or crisis support. It’s a mindfulness-based creative experience. Please engage with it as such.
